Lancesoft is seeking an experienced CT Tech for an exciting Travel Allied job in Morristown, NJ. Shift: 3x10 hr days Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks Pay: $2730 / Week Duties:Job Summary:-The CT technologist will demonstrate professionalism and service excellence when performing the following tasks. -Obtains necessary medical, surgical and radiological supplies for specific procedures according to established protocols. -Maintains sterility of field and instruments. -Correctly prepares requisitions. -Communicates to the patient and family before, during and after the procedure to alleviate anxiety while maintaining privacy and dignity of the patient. -The technologist will adhere to all HIPAA regulations and respect the patient's privacy. -Verifies patient identification according to the AHS policy. -Observes patient’s condition before and after contrast injections and reports any sudden change to the nursing staff and Radiologist. -Ensures availability of medicals records, previous reports, labs and history of patient. -Can begin emergency response in case of complication. -Maintains adequate linen supplies in each scanning room. -Maintains adequate contrast media and biopsy/drainage supplies in each scanning room. -Adheres to room assignments (CT 1,2 and 3). -Assists in maintaining CT storeroom, outside inventory. -Participates in daily inventory and stocking of supplies. -Notifies Lead of expired or soon to expire equipment or medications. -Cleans and inventories supplies. -Participates in the routine cleaning of the CT gantry, table and peripheral equipment after each use. Requirements: Required Certifications & Licensure: -ARRT RT (R)-ARRT RT (CT)-NJDEP – New Jersey State X-Ray License.-BLS Certification.Required Education: -HS diploma/GED -Completion of a Radiographer Technical training program from a School of Radiography or College based Radiography program.
