The Quality Control Manager (QCM) ensures projects meet all quality and compliance standards. They lead quality control activities, perform inspections, and implement corrective actions when needed. With expertise in federal construction regulations and safety, the QCM maintains a robust quality management system, addressing issues and ensuring top-notch outcomes. This role is crucial in delivering high-quality projects and driving successful project completion. Responsibilities: • Develop, administer, and ensure compliance with the Quality Control Plan for projects, following the Army Corps Three Phases of Control. • Certify that all submittals, plans, and specifications meet contract requirements, and oversee evaluations and testing by approved personnel or facilities. • Provide documented evaluations and corrective actions to maintain high-quality standards and minimize recurring issues. Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: • OSHA 30 hour • USACE CQM Certification • Experience with Procore and RMS • Proficient with Word, Excel, and PDF • Proven experience as a QCM on similar federal projects • In-depth knowledge of quality control procedures and legal standards • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities Additional Qualifying Factors: As a condition of employment, you will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening (post accepted offer) and have acceptable background check results. If applicable to the contract, you must also obtain the appropriate clearance levels required and be able to obtain access to military installations.   Necessary Physical Requirements: The physical demands described herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. If required, must properly use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times including but not limited to: hard hats, steel toed boots, eye protection, respiratory protection, and hearing protection. Must always maintain a constant state of mental alertness.   Working Conditions: Job is performed in a combination of office and outdoor site locations. The office setting includes exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, and mouse. Outdoor settings include walking, driving, and carrying supplies throughout all seasons with exposure to heat and cold conditions, and potentially wildlife. Is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals and loud noise.
