We currently have a role available for a Pharma Biologist in a pharmaceutical research lab setting.

Job duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Developing new methodologies in high-resolution and super-resolution microscopy.
  • Experience in high-resolution or high-content imaging, light and fluorescence microscopy, data collection, image processing and analysis preferred.
• Executing high-content imaging studies for different pre-clinical oncology projects.
• Engineering stable cell lines using transfection, lentiviral transduction, etc. and maintaining cultures of frequently used suspension and adherent cell lines.
  • Experience in mammalian cell culture and basic tissue culture techniques such as cell propagation, cryo-preservation and cell maintenance required.
  • Prior cell culture experience with immortalized cell lines, cancer cell lines and/or primary cells needed.
• Depositing and archiving plasmids and cell lines in the company's repository and banks.
• Documenting experimental work in an electronic laboratory notebook.
  • Exposure/experience with Benchling preferred.
• Maintaining and troubleshooting laboratory instrumentation and equipment.

Job requirements include, but are not limited to:

• BS - Molecular Biology, Cellular Biology, Microbiology or related field with 3-5 years of industrial lab experience, preferably from pharma research arena. MS - Molecular or Cellular Biology with 2+ years of industrial experience will also be considered.
• Excellent communication skills - verbal and written.
• Works well both within a team and as an individual.
• Demonstration of excellent team player and collaboration skills, very strong attention to detail, very strong problem-solving skills, a high level of learning agility, and the ability to work across functions. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and self-motivated, with the leadership and communication skills necessary to operate effectively in a fast-paced multidisciplinary environment with flexibility and an adaptable approach to goal delivery.
