Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join a small team responsible for setting up the power systems at an industrial purification plant outside of Mesa, AZ. The plant purifies hemp oil into medical-grade powder and spans over 25,000 square feet. The Industrial Electrician will collaborate with senior electrical staff to set up tanks, computer systems, and control panels. Prior experience in setting up new industrial facilities and being at or near the journeyman level is required.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

System Installation:

• Lay out and wire electrical panels, motors, pumps, and control systems.
• Install conduits, cable trays, and power distribution networks.
• Set up transformers, circuit breakers, and other power regulation equipment.

Equipment Integration:

• Connect and calibrate water purification systems (e.g., filtration units, reverse osmosis, UV disinfection).
• Ensure proper integration of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation.
• Install and test variable frequency drives (VFDs) for motor control.

Testing and Troubleshooting:

• Perform continuity and voltage tests to confirm circuit integrity.
• Identify and fix electrical faults or power distribution issues.
• Conduct safety checks to ensure compliance with national electrical codes.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 5-7 years of professional experience as an Electrician or Journeyman Electrician.
• 3+ years of experience as an Industrial Electrician.
• Prior experience setting up a new industrial facility.
• Ability to commute 30 minutes outside of Mesa, AZ daily.
