Job Description

Dupuy Group is currently seeking a Human Resources Manager to join our New Orleans location. The incumbent will play a key role in managing and enhancing our human resources department. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of HR best practices and the ability to foster a positive culture.

What you will be working on:

• Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
• Manage the policies and programs for the entire Dupuy Group; collaborate on the development of human resources practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented culture that emphasizes quality, productivity and standards, goal attainment, and the development of a competent workforce
• Implement effective recruitment processes, onboarding, training and development programs to enhance employee engagement and performance.
• Provide guidance and support to management team to ensure proper orientation, development and training
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, maintaining up to do knowledge of HR trends and practices
• Address employee relations issues, providing conflict resolution support and fostering a positive work environment
• Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures ensuring clear communication and understanding among employees
• Prepare and analyze HR metrics to make data driven decisions and improve HR processes.
• Collaborate with management to identify workforce needs and drive organizational development initiatives

What we are looking for: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business Management or a related field or equivalent experience
• 5+ years experience in Human Resources management with a strong understanding of HR practices and labor law
• HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred
• Strong communication, negotiation, collaboration and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization
• Proficient in HRIS and MS Office Suite
• Excellent organizational skills, analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity
• Proactive attitude with the capacity to work independently and as a part of a team
