Job Description

About the Role:
We are looking for a dedicated and customer-focused Call Center Agent to serve as a key point of contact for students. In this role, you will support prospective and current students by providing information, answering inquiries, and assisting with various aspects of the enrollment and retention process. This position involves high-touch inbound and outbound communication, requiring excellent customer service skills and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with students via phone and email, providing guidance on the features and benefits of the school's programs.
- Assist with student recruitment, application processing, and retention efforts to support enrollment goals.
- Stay informed about recruitment activities, information sessions, orientations, and registration events.
- Support students with course selection and registration as needed.
- Provide general financial aid information and guidance on the next steps in the process.
- Understand the student payment process and financial workflows to assist with inquiries.
- Work across multiple VPNs and student information systems to update records and document interactions.
- Manage multiple email accounts and systems to gather and relay accurate information to students.
- Participate in remote training sessions to stay updated on new programs, policies, and student support services.
- Maintain a professional and respectful approach when interacting with students, colleagues, and institutional guests.
- Follow provided guidelines, meet deadlines, and be receptive to feedback and constructive criticism.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements:
- Associate degree or a minimum of 24 college credits, OR at least one year of experience working in an educational setting (admissions, registration, financial aid, or student records), OR three years of relevant professional experience.
- Proficiency in computer systems and the ability to navigate multiple software applications.

Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Experience in recruitment, sales, management, or higher education is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Goal-oriented with excellent customer service and relationship-building abilities.
- Knowledge of Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and commitment to compliance.
- Ability to multitask, manage multiple student accounts, and maintain detailed records.
- Passion for helping students find the right educational path to achieve their career and personal goals.
