Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst with deep expertise in Power BI , Excel , and ETL processes to support data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role will focus on designing and maintaining BI solutions that deliver clear, actionable insights across key functions such as sales, inventory, supply chain, and customer analytics. The ideal candidate will transform complex data sets into intuitive dashboards and strategic reporting tools that drive profitability and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Power BI & Excel Reporting:

• Develop and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards for sales, inventory, merchandising, and supply chain performance.
• Build data visualizations and tools to monitor key metrics, including sell-through, stock levels, revenue, and customer behavior.
• Optimize Power BI and Excel reports for scalability, performance, and user experience.

ETL & Data Integration:

• Design and manage robust ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various platforms including ERP (Cin7, Xero), POS, Shopify, and supplier databases.
• Automate data pipelines to ensure seamless, real-time integration across systems.
• Ensure data integrity, consistency, and reliability across all business functions.

Analytics & Strategic Insights:

• Analyze sales trends, customer behavior, and product performance to support buying, planning, and inventory decisions.
• Deliver insights into markdown strategies, demand forecasting, and regional sales patterns.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with teams in marketing, finance, operations, and planning to address evolving reporting needs.
• Develop predictive models to improve inventory accuracy, reduce stockouts, and increase sell-through.

Data Management & Architecture:

• Manage and optimize data sources including SQL databases, cloud-based storage, and APIs.
• Build and maintain well-structured data models using star and snowflake schemas.
• Partner with data engineers to improve data accessibility and ensure efficient data warehousing practices.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Advanced proficiency in Power BI and Excel (including DAX, Power Query, custom visuals, and report optimization).
• Solid understanding of data modeling techniques (star/snowflake schemas, normalization, denormalization).
• Experience working with data from ERP, POS, and eCommerce systems.
• Strong analytical thinking with a keen eye for identifying trends, anomalies, and opportunities.
