Job Summary

We are seeking a Behavior Enrichment Assistant for our Veterinary Services Team in  Mattawan MI .

A Behavioral Enrichment Assistant is responsible for preparing animal enrichment and food products for animals at the site, providing customer service, including communicating product inventory, and assisting with other tasks related to distributing and managing inventory.

The pay range for this position is $20 to $22/hr USD. Please note that salaries vary within the range based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, certifications, and location.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage animal enrichment food and products for animals, as directed by veterinary staff, Behavioral Enrichment Specialist, or management.
• Inform/update colleagues and internal/external customers about enrichment food and product inventory.
• Complete customer orders according to specified timelines.
• Assist with distribution of enrichment food and products, as directed.
• Stock, track, and manage inventory and enrichment supplies, as directed.
• Perform all other related duties, as assigned.

Job Qualifications

• Education and Experience: HS/GED with no experience.
• Certification/Licensure: None.
• Demonstrated ability to work in high production environment.
• Demonstrated commitment to high work quality and standards.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing at all levels inside and outside the organization.
• Basic familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Computer skills, commensurate with Essential Duties and Responsibilities, including the ability to learn a validated system.
• Ability to work extended hours beyond normal work schedule to include, but not limited to evenings, weekends, extended shifts, and/or extra shifts, sometimes on short notice.
• Ability to work under specific time constraints.
