The Integrated Resource Planning Procurement Oversight Team is seeking an Associate Energy Program Analyst to support the state’s resource and infrastructure planning efforts, including overseeing the ongoing contracting and performance oversight of third-party expert consultants needed to meet Integrated Resource Planning program goals as well as provide organization support and analysis of stakeholder communications and records maintenance related to procurement monitoring and enforcement. In this role you will provide research related to stakeholder submitted information, write and edit documents and be a contributing member on larger assignments. You will also provide administrative coordination for stakeholder workshops and other public-facing events. This is a position where you will be contributing to solving some of the most important challenges facing California in regards to climate change and energy planning. This position requires travel.

This is a hybrid position that will require the selected candidate to report to their assigned headquarter office a minimum of two (2) days a week. Hybrid positions may be eligible for telework under California Government Code Section 14200 for eligible applicants residing in California. In accordance with CPUC Telework Policy, telework arrangements are subject to change and may be reevaluated at any time.

  3. Describe your experience working in administrative areas including contracts, encumbrances, program budgeting, record retention and archiving crucial documents as related to record-keeping, and related activity.
